Security forces on Thursday conduct searches in Nadihal village of north Kashmir's Bandipora district.

An official told wire service—media that a cordon and search operation was launched by a joint team of army's 14 RR unit of army and SOG Bandipora in Nadihal village in the morning. He said that the forces conducted searches in the area following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

"However, the search operation was later called off as the forces couldn't find any trace of militants in the area,” he said. Meanwhile, the security forces carried out searches in Goshbug village of Pattan in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
